Revenue Operations Manager Job Description Template
A Revenue Operations Manager aligns sales, marketing, and customer success around shared data, processes, and tooling to drive predictable revenue growth. They own the GTM tech stack, reporting infrastructure, and process improvements that enable the revenue team to operate at peak efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Own and optimise the GTM tech stack (Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Gong)
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports for pipeline, forecasting, and revenue metrics
- Define and enforce data hygiene standards across CRM and marketing automation
- Partner with sales leadership on territory design, quota setting, and comp plan modelling
- Manage onboarding and training for GTM tools across sales, marketing, and CS
- Identify process gaps and implement automation to reduce manual work
Requirements
- 3+ years of revenue operations, sales operations, or marketing operations experience
- Deep Salesforce expertise (admin-level proficiency, ideally Salesforce Admin certified)
- Strong analytical skills: SQL, Excel, or BI tools (Tableau, Looker)
- Experience with lead routing, lifecycle stage management, and attribution modelling
- Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders across sales, marketing, and CS
Nice to Have
- Experience at a company scaling from $5M to $50M ARR
- Background in financial modelling and sales capacity planning
- Familiarity with CPQ tools (Salesforce CPQ, DealHub)
